Agriculture is the backbone of India and we envision it thriving one day. To assist the farmers in this process is our mission.

Technology has made its presence felt in various sectors of India's development in the last twenty years. Yet these developments are restricted to certain elitist sections of society. Often the agriculture sector is the last to be impacted by technology. The farming community would benefit immensely from the insertion of technology in its many processes.

Among the numerous problems in our agriculture system, using technology to simplify the process of acquiring agro-inputs is a good place to start solving some. Currently, farmers struggle with a lack of access to necessary materials. They are often forced to buy only the products that the local dealers offer. These are usually products that give the shopkeeper/ dealers a bigger margin but are lacking in essential qualities.

Farmers also lose time and effort in locating and obtaining materials that are not easily available. Additionally, they lack the right knowledge about the application of these inputs. These problems and our drive to resolve them resulted in the formation of Agrewa. Here, we work towards designing new methods to improve a grower’s experience.

The introduction of the ebeej platform is our first step towards making a difference. The Agrewa team will continue to work towards developing and building ways to transform Indian agriculture.
